Motorized Kayaks

Looking for a motorized kayak ? Well congrats, you found the best. Why You may ask ? Simple… The Solo Skiff was designed from start to have a motor..and just as importantly, it was designed for fisherman, period. Why add a motor to a typical kayak, it was not designed for it, the Solo Skiff was. To add a motor to a fishing kayak takes all sorts of extra hardware and it was never designed tonoptimize use of any type of motor. The Solo Skiff does not need extra hardware for motor use, including tillers, extensions, mounting hardware, anything. The Solo Skiffs transom is designed for mounting a motor – be it an outboard or a trolling motor. It is also positioned on the hull in a way that operating it, tilting it, starting it does not throw the boat (or you) off balance because you do not have to go to the rear of the boat…you can sit right on the seat…by design, this makes it MUCH safer, and again was designed that way. Another thing to mention -if your going to use an electric trolling motor (which is awesome on a Solo Skiff),the Solo has a place for the battery inside the hull…again by design.
